My Sister asked me to do this for her' as she is partially blind
Derek was a lovely Man he was only 48, He left behind My Sister Mary
And 4 children plus a Baby that passed a year before our Dad. she was 3 months old. (SIDS) Her name
was Helen Rolfe
Derek was a bus Driver everyone loved him there.
He had worked all his life since I had known him.
Derek lived for his kids he loved taking them to air shows every year, he loved a laugh, he also
loved to play on pc. Him and My Husband used to be up all night playing war games, if not golf lol
when he became ill the doctors thought he had indigestion how wrong there where.
The pain got so bad, but every time they give him Gaviscon, Typical Doctors. He was losing weight
Rapidly, and still they said nothing serious.
When he got to hospital they said he had Gallstones Again wrong.
Then he got told pneumonia again wrong,When Derek and His Daughter went to find out about his test,
Doctor told him it was cancer and it was Terminal and there was nothing they could do for him.One
thing they had to get fluid out his lungs,The cancer was out side his lungs this is why they drained
his lung, We where told not to tell him how long he had.it was weeks Rather then Months. He only
lived 6 weeks from the time we where told god bless him.
A Bend In The Road

to valiantly keep on trying?

and gain strength with Him at our side.
And together we stand at life's crossroads
and view what we think is the end.
But God has a much bigger vision,
and He tells us it's only a bend,
For the road goes on and is smoother,
and the pause in the song is a rest,
And the part that's unsung and unfinished
is the sweetest and richest and best.
So rest and relax and grow stronger
let go and let God share your load.
